Our flagship SaaS product is a solution to retail tenant selection for commercial landlords. It makes the due diligence in the tenant decision process less painful and more profitable for commercial landlords and their leasing teams with minimal human intervention. We are a rapidly growing startup co-founded by industry leaders, including the Head of AI at a top Microsoft partner, the CPO of a leading CRE company, and a seasoned B2B SaaS growth operator from Insight Partners. About the roleWe're looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer to help take our MVP to full-featured SaaS product. You will focus on creating a scalable web app and system architecture in Azure to enhance our data ingestion, processing, analysis, and serving capabilities. You'll report directly to the technical founder and work with a growing engineering team. You'll be the first full time engineer, so you'll have a lot of influence on our technical direction and culture. The right candidate excels at creating software at all layers of web apps, with a large scale systems architect's mindset. Ideally, you thrive in early stage environments that provide freedom to move fast and ship new features at high velocity. The role requires strong communication and customer empathy skills too. Since we are a remote first company, you will simultaneously need to be able to collaborate well, and be self-directed and work independently. This initial 6-month contract position offers a clear pathway to full-time employment based on key performance indicators aligned with our business goals. Key ResponsibilitiesNorth Star Responsibility: Build features people want.Technical Leadership: Lead product engineering efforts.System Design: Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, data platform and architectures, scalable microservices, and Azure web app. Technical SkillsNeed to have:Backend development with Django and Python.Front end development with React and Typescript.Database development with MongoDB.Can navigate the trade offs of microservices vs monolith architectures and understands RESTful API design. Nice to have:Database development with PostgreSQL.Azure infrastructure deployment with Terraform.API development with FastAPI or Django's REST framework.MLOps infra, pipelines, and automated governance.
