We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence Specialist to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence Digitalization and Technology Management (D&TM). D&TM are responsible for providing AI-powered solutions to various business functions within our Global Manufacturing Excellence admin area. The solutions leverage the latest technological advancements of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics to create business values across the value chain. The Global Manufacturing Excellence organization will be the center of excellence in Global Manufacturing under downstream business line within for Digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence technologies and data science. Your primary role will be to work closely with business functions, stakeholders, functional teams to give consultations on AI/ML use case, identify potential value from data, formulate AI and data science ideas and conceptualize them. This role will play a pivotal role in helping our organization to make data-driven decisions and to solve complex problems. Minimum Requirements Bachelors/ Master's degree in Engineering, Data science from a premier institute. +5 years of experience in building data analytics-based products in industrial context, preferably in petroleum refineries. Identify business problems that can be addressed through data analysis and develop data-driven solutions (Engineering/Operational problems, computer vision-based products). Exceptional analytical and Problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights and opportunities from data are required. Understanding of the Oil & gas downstream domain to apply data science effectively is essential. Experience in developing AI/ML based Digital twins of industrial process/equipment's. Experience in applying Optimization algorithms in line with AI/ML Models. Expertise in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling. Familiarity with popular libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-Learn etc. Proficiency in deep learning tools keras, TensorFlow, pytorch, cafee, etc. Proficiency in developing, evaluation and selecting the best ML model based on the problem under consideration with an Engineering sense. Bring ideas from conceptualization to productionizing. Proficiency in visualization tools and packages; and in communicating data science topics to non-technical audience. Basic project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver data science projects on time and within scope is preferred. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and domain experts, to drive data-driven improvements. Gather and preprocess data from various industrial sources, such as sensors, DCS systems, and manufacturing equipment's. Analyze data to identify opportunities for process optimization, energy efficiency improvements, and cost reduction. Implement anomaly detection algorithms to identify abnormal patterns in industrial processes and equipment. Develop predictive maintenance models to identify equipment failures and minimize downtime. Bring innovative ideas to apply image, video and audio analytics to reduce manual efforts like visual inspection/field monitoring of industrial plants. Create informative dashboards to communicate insights to operational teams and management. Deploy machine learning models into production systems for real-time monitoring and decision-making. Maintain documentation for data analysis processes, models, and findings. Ensure that data practices adhere to industry regulations and data privacy standards. Monitor and evaluate model performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and reliability. If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you. 2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week. If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location. The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions. If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer. If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you. 2.3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field. 3. Conditional Offer: A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
