About the opportunity:


We are looking for talent to join us in the position of team lead of the general accounting department, who will be responsible for coordinating the accounting and fixed asset routines, management and statutory reporting and other routines inherent to the finance/accounting department in large companies.


Job Descriptions:

  • Daily guide, supervise and/or carry out the control of the company accounting, fixed assets and reporting routines, including monitoring the manual entries, integration between the SAP modules to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards;
  • Guiding, supervising and/or executing the control of the company closing schedule in order to ensure that the month-end and year-end cost allocation are executed in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Guiding and assist the internal and external stakeholders on the technical accounting related matters;
  • Assist and conduct the periodic external and internal audit routines;
  • Periodically preparing the financial statements of the period as well as preparing KPI and various reports on the performance of the area, for control and decision making;
  • Supervise and support the work of analysts;
  • Respond to inquiries from employees and internal customers, urgent requests precisely and accurately;
  • Prepare reports and monitor KPI of the area;
  • Support continuous improvement journey, by evaluating legal requirements, internal controls and ERP system rules;
  • Carry out other activities inherent to the position or at the discretion of their immediate superior, provided they are qualified and are in accordance with their knowledge and experience;


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting routines and team leadership. Previous experience in shared service companies or large industry will be a plus;
  • Brazilian federal accounting board registration;
  • Degree in Accounting. MBA in finance or business will be a plus;
  • Strong profile of management and team leadership;
  • Good communication skill with stakeholders of all levels;
  • Motivation, proactivity and strong analytical profile;
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office applications, mainly excel;
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP system, modules FI/CO. Knowledge in the modules SD/MM/PM/AA will be a plus;
  • Proficiency in month-end and year-end cost allocation in SAP system;
  • Proficiency in BR GAAP, US GAAP & IFRS standards
  • Advanced English language skill;
  • Willing to travel for work purpose;
  • Willing to work onsite at Campinas.
