ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all transactions meet internal, local and international compliance requirements.
  • Provide back-office support to the Sales, Marketing and Service Teams performing logistics activities while providing relevant information as required.
  • Daily control of delivery dashboard, interacting with carriers and customers.
  • Working in conjunction with Importation/Exportation team by coordinating shipments from factory to 3PL.
  • Coordination of incoming shipments including: warehouse notification and receipt into SAP
  • Ensure stock count is accurate through regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
  • Stock quality is maintained by appropriate segregation and disposition of damaged and expired stock.
  • Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
  • Ensure that all logistics processes are documented and that the processes meet corporate compliance guidelines. Prepare & maintain SOP’s as required.
  • Liaising with the 3rd party warehouses in Brazil by ensuring:
  • Operations meet the defined service level requirements including local shipping arrangements
  • Work with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
  • Take ownership for the coordination and planning of warehousing activities including: inbound, outbound and reverse logistics with a focus on inventory management.
  • Ensure that our 3rd party logistics partners follow best practices and processes and will be responsible for measuring their KPIs.
  • Ensure that KPI’s, Metrics and reporting is conducted weekly, monthly or as required.
  • Recommend process, procedure and system improvements where necessary.
  • Process SAP transactions ensuring adherence remain in line with corporate requirements.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties on any local issues, new product introductions and product changes.
  • Prepare and analyze reports as required to meet company objectives and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Liaison and follow‐up when appropriate with transport companies, ensuring Cepheid service levels meets customer expectations of prompt delivery times.
  • Provision of proof of deliveries (POD) as required to aid in resolving outstanding accounts.
  • Ensure adherence with Quality procedures and Internal policies.
  • Assist in the management of stock take and cycle count activities with the 3PL warehouse and ensure the inventory is reconciled timely.
  • Performing other administrative tasks as requested.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience OR

Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.

Experience in warehousing processes and desired in importation

SAP experience essential

Certificate in Logistics Management, Supply Chain or Administration.

One-year experience working in a similar environment.

Knowledge of medical/pathology/scientific terms an advantage

Understanding of logistics, supply chain

Proven experience and a successful record in a logistics environment

Must be able to maintain multiple projects at one time.

Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products

SAP experience essential

Excellent written, communication & interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

High attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Language: English and Spanish/Portuguese
