Description Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking an Associate Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer , reporting to the Electrical Power Systems team Manager of Boeing Brazil, working out of the São Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office. The Associate Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer will work with the global Electrical Power Systems engineering team to support the development and certification of transport category airplanes. Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation, distribution functions, lighting, optics, and proximity sensing.Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Fluent in both written and verbal EnglishMust be legally able to work in BrazilBachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering, with registration at Regional Council of Engineering in Brazil (CREA).Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Some knowledge or experience on Product Development life cycle and applicable regulations.Some knowledge or experience in Safety Assessment standards.Familiar with Agile methodology.Some knowledge or experience with supplier qualification (DO-160).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
