This position will be based in our Office in São Paulo in a full presencial work model.


About the Role


Analyze and follow up on current and potential companies in order to make investment recommendations to portfolio managers with the objective of adding alpha to portfolios.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Track companies and sectors under coverage on a daily basis and maintain updated financial models and fact sheets.
  • Monitor capital events, related news and macroeconomic changes that may affect the performance of the companies and sectors under coverage.
  • Develop investment models, produce reports and presentations recommending investment actions.
  • Organize and participate in meetings with analysts and executives of the companies and industries under coverage.
  • Prepare fund management presentations for clients.
  • Participate in conferences and organize site visits to companies and industries under coverage.
  • Perform financial analysis of local and Latin American companies.
  • Develop a network of contacts with Latin American companies and the financial community.
  • Prepare and participate in investment committees
  • Make presentations of the companies and sectors under coverage to the Portfolio Manager.
  • Analyze initial share offerings and capital raises.


Requirements:


  • Economics, BA, Accounting, Finance or Engineering degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Equity Research
  • Knowledge of markets, financial products, financial modeling and valuation knowledge
  • Communication and influencing skills
  • English language proficiency (required). Spanish (desirable).
  • Solid analytical skills, including financial accounting and modelling, valuation, report writing and presentation building and delivery.
  • Mastery of the Office package.
