Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at AVM Consulting Inc. As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and effective testing strategies and frameworks for our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop automated testing solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall quality assurance process by performing code reviews, analyzing test results, and providing valuable feedback to the development team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar, to automate repetitive test cases and improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices in functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, etc.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar, to report, track, and manage issues found during testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for cloud native application
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment
  • Media domain exposure is a plus
