Sustainability Director

Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Sustainability Director.

Multinational company is looking for a Sustainability Director that will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of the sustainability strategy in the LATAM region, being the main communicator of the company’s positioning with stakeholders, in events and media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Position the company as a leading voice in sustainability debates;
• Drive the implementation of our global sustainability agenda in the region;
• Provide out of the box thinking and develop regional and national strategies aiming to fulfill the current and future needs of the business, within a modern and innovative approach to “commercialize sustainability”;
• Develop and implement the sustainability plan and Public Affairs in the region;
• Lead the development of a cohesive & comprehensive approach in using sustainability as a competitive advantage for the company;
• Conduct appropriate research and commission targeted studies to support our sustainability position;
• Support Commercial to engage customers at a higher level;
• Attend meetings and present to customers and suppliers as necessary;
• Collaborate with multiple teams including sales, communications, legal, government relations, marketing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid experience in Corporate Sustainability;
• Maintain an understanding of relevant requirements in LATAM region;
• Understanding carbon market development is required.
• Understanding recycling and circularity is required.
• Minimum advanced level in English, Spanish and Portuguese;
• Travel up to 40%.
