SR SCIENTIST-2407016850WDescriptionKenvue is currently recruiting for: Sr. Scientist The Scientist RMC will be responsible to lead and manage various chemical raw material projects for existing marketed products within Kenvue Global portfolio (Baby Care, Oral Care, Compromised Skin Care, Beauty products, OTC Monograph drug products, NDA and Class II Medical Device products). The Scientist RMC will conduct and be the technical lead for raw material qualification projects. This individual will coordinate and execute technical aspects of projects, report metrics, and interact with and/or lead cross-functional teams regionally and globally to implement projects. Additionally, the Scientist RMC will work independently to drive technical resolutions under defined timelines and work collaboratively with cross-functionally business partners.This position is based at Sao Jose dos Campos. What You Will DoThe Scientist RMC is responsible for:Key Responsibilities·Qualify alternate raw material suppliers owning the end to end process for both customer service and supply issues. ·Provide technical assessment, recommendation, and write reports for assigned raw materials. ·The Scientist RMC will need to prioritize and execute multiple projects with various business impact at the regional level·Assess impact of raw material changes to different types of formulations·Resolve issues with raw materials/products and processes·Identify improvement opportunities·Manage and coordinate low and high complexity projects with cross-functional team and SMEs, report metrics, and interact with and/or lead cross-functional teams to implement projects·Work independently to drive technical resolutions·Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Research and Development (R&D), Regulatory, Toxicology, Claims and other functional groups as needed.·Batch formulations to assess impact of raw material changes·Competently handle day-to-day work challenges. Detail oriented and ability to work collaboratively across functional groups and handle multiple responsibilities and projects.QualificationsWhat We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications·A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering or related areas is required. Graduate degree or specialization in cosmetology will be considered a differential.·Minimum of 4 years' experience in product development or related areas of Cosmetic Industry or Chemical Raw Material Industry is required.·Experience managing and executing technical projects.·Fluent English is required. ·Good communication skills with different areas & team work. Write clearly and informatively. Create documents that are complete and accurate.·Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment while being an individual contributor.
