BD Service Specialist

The Position:

Sungrow is looking to bring on board a BD Service Specialist that is helping the business to grow in services solutions.

The main role is to bring new customers into the business focusing on after sales, developing strategies and new customer services in conjunction with sales, after sales and marketing, getting new customers to buy and use our products and solutions.


Main activities and Responsibilities:

Lead/Contribute with the preparation of bids for Sungrow customers focused on Brazil region and coordinate with the rest of LATAM for PV and BESS projects, offering service contracts such as O&M contracts, SLAs, LTSAs and MSAs;

Coordinate with Sales team non-standard terms within the contracts;

Negotiate contracts and solutions with Customers;

Perform Market Assessment on new service offerings and service demands;

Actively follow-up the service offers pipeline and prepare corresponding report;

Review Service prices with Service Management team and create standard price offers for bids;

Coordinate with legal, service and O&M departments on any special requirements for service contracts for PV and BESS;

Work with other members of Service and Sales to identify best practices and recommend process changes that will improve the effectiveness of the process;

Present final contract to the Service organization to be able to achieve the contract requirements;

Collaborate with the Service team on new markets, and possible service offers;

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly report for Service senior management.


Function Specific Knowledge:

Desirable: Graduate/MBA in Electrical Engineering, Legal, Business Management or Related Fields;

Sales Methods and Techniques; Persuasion and negotiation skills;

Familiar with Offers preparation and price composition;

Basics of Electrical Systems and Communication (networks);

Familiar with global service Organization and service contracts;

Great communications skills (written and oral);

Detail-oriented with ability to understand nuances of opportunities and dependent services;

Analytical self-starter with strong attention to details;

Good understanding of sales and project execution process;

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to work on multiple service demands in diverse areas;

Familiar with review and contracts negotiation;

Good abilities of prioritization of work tasks;

Knowledge about the company's solutions and the solar market;

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);

Valid driver license.


Education and Minimum Requirements:

Mandatory: Full Graduation in Electrical Engineering, legal, business, or related areas;

5+ year of overall experience in sales, field service or related roles;

Office 365 proficiency;

Fluent/Advanced language skills in English;

Desirable intermediate Spanish.

Work Location and Status:

Availability to travels (40%).
