The Regional Marketing Director has a broad range of responsibilities that include strategic development and execution, internal / external communications, general sales and marketing initiatives, sales operations and integrated business planning (IBP) for the Latam region. This critical position will work closely with the Corporate Protective and Marine Division's Marketing Team, and, also, with Sales Directors across Latam and other functional leaders to reach and exceed financials goals, relative to sales and profitability.


Responsabilities:


  • Strategic Development and Execution
  • Annual Marketing Plans
  • Capture voice of the field / customer to identify expansion opportunities into attractive segments where we have a right to succeed
  • 5 Year Strategic Plan
  • Operating Plan
  • Communications
  • Manage and enhance external communications through the Marcom Team
  • Work through the Marcom Team and agency partners to strength our brand awareness in key strategic segments
  • Optimize internal communications across marketing, sales, sales excellence, product and R&D functions
  • Mentor, develop and coach direct report and teams members
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to align on all marketing and sales related activities and ensure they are accretive to overall growth and development of the Latam business.


Leadership: the Regional Marketing Director leads our Market Segment Managers and the MarComm team. The role reports to Protective and Marine Division Latam Sales & Marketing Vice President.


Requirements:


Formal Education required: Business administration or similar + MBA (desired). Spanish / English / Portuguese (desirable)

Knowledge & experience:

  • Required: Management experience. Previous sales and / or marketing experience in the Industrial Coatings Industry
  • Preferred: Previous experience in marketing communications. Exposure to Sale and Operating Planning (S&OP) and / or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
