Junior Simulation Engineer Transport And Logistics

We are currently seeking a Junior Simulation Engineer in the transport and logistics field to join our dynamic team. As the Junior Simulation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects in the accounting industry. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing simulation software to analyze and improve transportation and logistics systems. You will collaborate with a team of experienced simulation engineers to develop models, perform data analysis, and provide recommendations for process improvements. Your work will play a crucial role in optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall supply chain performance for our clients in the accounting industry. Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and validate simulation models for transportation and logistics systems. Conduct analysis and data collection to understand input parameters and model constraints. Perform system optimization and scenario analysis using various simulation techniques. Identify and analyze key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of transportation and logistics operations. Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommending actionable solutions. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in simulation technology to continuously improve modeling capabilities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in simulation software such as AnyLogic or Simio. Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of transportation and logistics principles is a plus.
