Main Activities:


The designee shall perform his/her activities in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro Principles and oriented to safeguard the integrity of people, bearing in mind to preserve the environment and resources by contributing to improve our energy efficiency and decarbonization of Company’s assets and reputation.

Preserve Company’s interests in the assets and support handling the relationship with Operator

and JV Partners:

  • Manage the incoming and outgoing information from Joint Venture projects (Ballots, AFEs, Notices, Letters), ensuring the availability of the information for the designated stakeholders on a timely manner.
  • Follow up on the requests / communication with Operator and partners.
  • Organize and ensure the electronic archiving of all the JV information with an updated actions tracker and reporting system (including Sharepoint migration project).
  • Support on Ballots and AFEs analysis and interaction with internal teams.
  • Prepare the monthly SOX control and any other necessary information.
  • Support the JV Coordinator during the contractual negotiations (internal meetings, preanalysis, and internal follow up with Company other teams).
  • Ensure the follow-up of JV audits requests.
  • Identify and promote best safety and environmental practices by JV asset Operators consistent with company and industry standards.
  • Ensure the contractual obligations are fulfilled on time.
  • Ensure maximum influence is done within the JV and develop alliances with others when appropriate, by maintaining and developing relationships with JV Partners, including Operator.
  • Support Regulatory Affairs in obtaining the information required to fulfill contractual and statutory obligations for the Assets.
  • Follow-up on the work program and budget of the Operator.
  • Follow-up on the major development contracts.
  • Propose Performance Improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute actively to any Digital solution which can bring incremental revenue.
  • Prepare letters and partners communication.
  • General assistant and Support to JV Coordinator.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings as needed.
  • Update nomination letters and CEP access to users.
  • Assist in preparation of internal validation gates.


Context and Environment:

  • Work inside a multicultural asset team (Joint Venture, Development, and Geoscience).
  • Complex contractual framework: unitization, Transfer of Rights, Open Acreage.
  • Display cross-functionality and solidarity in the Asset team.
  • Ensure the strict adherence to our contractual and regulatory obligations.


Accountabilities:

  • HSE: Ensure compliance with relevant directives and company rules. Undertake adequate training to improve his/her HSE behavior. Respect and enforce HSE rules, including with regards to the confidentiality of information.
  • Assist the JV Coordinator and Asset Manager influencing and convincing the asset Partners and the Operator on major decisions for the Joint Ventures.
  • Assist Asset Manager with proactive proposal when beneficial for the asset.
  • Work in a full understanding context with the headquarters and affiliate stakeholders (Legal, Supply Chain and Local Content, etc.).
  • Support the coordination of the Asset activity and interface and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.


Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Background: Graduate in a Technical area, Economics, Legal or Business & Administration, or related areas.
  • Professional Exposure (number of years): 0 – 2 years of energy technical or energy business professional experience.
  • Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English is a requirement. Fluency in French is an advantage.
  • Others: Active Team worker, proactive, dynamic and flexible.
