Job Description and Responsibilities Include: ​

  • Collaborate with external agencies such as Apple, the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) and other standards to ensure compliance with their digital key certification requirements.​
  • Manage the certification process for digital key systems, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologies.​
  • Utilize expertise in embedded systems and knowledge of digital key protocols to guide the certification process and ensure technical compliance.​
  • Leverage experience with IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) tools to manage certification-related tasks, track progress, and collaborate with team members.​
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation, test results, and other materials required for certification.​
  • Apply understanding of vehicle ECU architectures, microcontrollers, and SOC within the context of digital key systems to facilitate the certification process.​
  • Communicate with certification bodies to provide updates, address queries, and resolve any issues that may arise during the certification process.​
  • Stay updated on the latest certification standards and guidelines related to digital key systems and ensure that the team adheres to these requirements.​
  • Maintain comprehensive records of certification activities, including applications, approvals, and any required follow-up actions.​
  • Collaborate with the embedded development team to ensure that the digital key implementation aligns with the certification requirements and industry best practices.​
  • Knowledge of cloud transactions, cybersecurity concepts, and mobile applications in terms of end-to-end validation.​


Basic Qualifications: ​

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.​
  • Solid experience in automotive system validation, certification or compliance.​
  • Understanding of digital key systems and related technologies (BLE, UWB).​
  • Knowledge of certification processes and requirements for automotive software.​
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS) and version control systems (e.g., Git).​
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.​


Preferred Qualifications: ​

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.​
  • PMP and/or Agile SAFe Certification​
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive project management with system validation, certification or compliance.​
  • Expertise in digital key certification requirements and processes.​
  • Experience with IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) for project management and collaboration.​
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
