We are looking for (DATA ENGINEERS) who wants to learn and transform his career.
The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our data ecosystem. With a focus on delivering high-quality and trustworthy data, the Data Engineer's responsibilities include:
- Pipeline Development: Lead the creation and optimization of data pipelines that support analytics, data science, and machine learning applications.
- Data Modeling: Architect scalable data models that can easily expand to accommodate growing datasets and complex business needs.
- Data Platform Construction: Develop a robust data platform tailored for data storage, management, and large-scale processing. This includes managing scheduling components and building essential libraries.
- Data Governance Collaboration: Work closely with the global data governance team to ensure full compliance with data privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
- Standardization & Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering counterparts to craft a standardized data library, catalog, and instrumentation, promoting consistency across the organization.
- Performance Optimization: Drive continual enhancements in system reliability, performance, scalability, and overall data quality, owning and monitoring relevant KPIs.
- Code Excellence: Develop state-of-the-art code and play an instrumental role in shaping the software development culture within the team. Establish and advocate for best practices in software engineering, particularly in instrumentation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay at the forefront of Big Data technology evolution and ensure this knowledge is disseminated across the organization. Promote best practices, established standards, governed processes, and the adoption of the latest technologies.
MUST HAVE SKILL:
- Knowledge of (at least two): Scala, Java, SQL, Python
- Cloud PaaS environment: AWS, Databricks, Snowflake
- Need to be proficient with following AWS tools: EMR, EC2, Airflow, AWS Lambda, AWS Step function, Databricks Scheduler, DynamoDB, graph DB, Kubernetes
- Version Control through Github
- Should have knowledge on Data Quality frameworks like AWS Deequ and similar.
- Agile methodology of project execution: Scrum, Jira, AHA, working in self-organizing sprints
- Cloud Architecture patterns knowledge
- Knowledge on Restful, Graph QL and SOAP APIs
- Data Modeling experience for Relational and NOSQL databases
- Data Science model productionization, versioning, MLFlow, Sage maker, Flask
- Data privacy and compliance knowledge in practice
- Working knowledge on NoSQL, S3 and relational database
