Job Description and Responsibilities Include: ​

  • Set up and maintain manual test benches for digital key system validation, including BLE and UWB technologies.​
  • Configure and flash modules with the appropriate software and firmware versions required for testing and validation.​
  • Utilize knowledge of CAN and Ethernet vehicle communication protocols to effectively validate digital key systems within the vehicle network architecture.​
  • Leverage experience with tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and Ethernet tools from Vector to monitor, analyze, and debug communication between digital key systems and vehicle ECUs.​
  • Apply understanding of vehicle ECU architectures and system architectures to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for digital key validation.​
  • Utilize expertise in BLE and UWB protocols to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of digital key systems.​
  • Manage and execute test plans using IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) tools for efficient test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.​
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of digital key systems.​
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and troubleshoot any issues found during the validation process.​
  • Document test results, report defects, and provide detailed feedback to the development team for resolution.​
  • Ensure that the digital key systems meet the required specifications and are ready for certification.​
  • Continuously improve the validation process by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and efficiency.​
  • Work closely with the Digital Key Certification Manager to ensure that the validation efforts align with the certification requirements and timelines.​
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in digital key technologies, testing methodologies, and tools to enhance the validation process.​
  • Knowledge of cloud transactions, cybersecurity concepts, and mobile applications in terms of end-to-end validation.​


Basic Qualifications: ​

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.​
  • Experience in automotive software testing or validation.​
  • Experience with embedded systems, communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet), and testing tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer).​
  • Understanding of digital key systems and related technologies (BLE, UWB).​
  • Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting.​
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.


Preferred Qualifications: ​

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.​
  • Solid experience in automotive SW/system testing or validation.​
  • Proficiency in using testing tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and Ethernet testing tools.​
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and methodologies.​
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
